Officials in Los Angeles have announced a $25,000 reward for information that helps find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for critically injuring a 40-year-old male pedestrian in South Los Angeles. According to a City News Service report, LAPD officials said the man was injured the afternoon of April 3 at Broadway and 43rd Street, and remains hospitalized.
Police released security video of the hit-and-run vehicle, described as a white 2014-2020 Toyota Tacoma pickup with a cargo roof rack, black rims and a bed cover. Officials did not have a description for the motorist. A standing $25,000 reward was in effect offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve hit and run cases. Anyone with information about the incident or the hit-and-run driver is asked to contact LAPD detectives at 213-833-3713.
