Jaehyeong Park, 21, Yoseop Jeon, 18 and, Kiwook Seok, 20, were all killed in a fiery car accident in Irvine. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred early morning on Nov. 22 on Harvard Avenue near University Drive. Driver Killed in Fiery Newport Beach Car Accident
A 20-year-old man died in a fiery car accident in Newport Beach after the car he was driving burst into flames after slamming into an Army-Navy surplus store on the night of Nov. 17. According to a report in the Daily Pilot, officials said the crash occurred at West Coast Highway and 61st Street. Gracie and Edward Contreras, 55, were killed in a West Covina car accident and their 13-year-old son was injured, after a fleeing carjacking suspect crashed into their car Oct. 12. According to a KTLA news report, the couple was on their way to their home with Gracie Contreras’s son when a man fleeing the police crashed into their vehicle. Elderly Woman Dies from Injuries Suffered in Huntington Beach Car Accident
An 88-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained more than a week ago in a two-vehicle car accident in Huntington Beach. According to a news report in the Los Angeles Times, the woman had been transported to a local hospital after complaining of neck and back pain. The incident occurred the afternoon of Aug. 24. Worker Injured in Anaheim After Car Crashes into Construction Site
A worker at a construction site was injured after a car crashed into the site and knocked the worker into a 20-foot-deep hole. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the incident occurred at the intersection of State College Boulevard and Ball Road the night of July 29. The man had been performing shoring work in preparation for sewer reconstruction Anaheim fire officials said. The driver crashed into the construction site hitting some equipment. Worker and His Dog Killed After Being Struck by Speeding SUV in Beaumont
Darren Kritzberger, a body shop worker, and his dog, were killed when an out-of-control SUV careened off a freeway in Beaumont and slammed into his business. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the SUV also crashed into a motor home and other cars the morning of July 19. According to a KTLA news report, the car accident occurred the morning of June 27 along Long Beach Boulevard, just south of 44th Street. Police say a 90-year-old woman was at the wheel of a 2015 Kia Rio with 91-year-old Howard Schaack riding as a passenger. Woman Distracted by Pet in Car Causes Crash in Orange County
A driver who seemed to have been distracted by her pet Yorkie jumping inside her car crashed into the patio of a home in Orange the night of May 1. According to a news report in the Orange County Register, no one was injured in the crash at a townhome complex at 5825 Creekside Avenue. There was minor damage to the fencing closing off the home’s patio and to the car’s front end. Police said the small dog jumped down from her lap to her feet and kept her from being able to apply the brakes. The black Mercedes drove into a carport and onto a hedge before it hit the fence.
