Two women were killed in a Los Angeles car accident after their vehicle was struck by an out-of-control big-rig, which crashed on the 60 Freeway in Hacienda Heights. According to a KABC news report, the fatal car accident occurred early morning on March 3, 2011, when the driver of the tractor-trailer, who was traveling west on the freeway, attempted to transition to the 605 Freeway.
The big-rig then lost control and crashed through the center divider before landing on the opposite side of the freeway where it collided with a Nissan Sentra carrying the two victims. Both women died at the scene. They have not yet been identified, but are said to have been between the ages of 30 and 40. Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
I offer my deepest condolences to the family members and friends of these two deceased victims. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
