Three people were injured in a Los Angeles car accident involving several vehicles including a Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) bus, a Lexus sedan and a tanker truck carrying transmission fluid. According to a report in the Pasadena Star-News, the collision occurred the morning of March 30, 2010 on the westbound 210 Freeway near the Sierra Madre Boulevard onramp, in Pasadena. The initial collision was between the bus and the large truck. The drivers of the truck and bus driver sustained moderate injuries. A passenger in the Lexus was also injured, but the extent of that person’s injuries is not known.
My thoughts and sympathies go out to the three injured victims here. I hope the passenger in the sedan was not seriously harmed. It is indeed fortunate that there were no passengers on the bus. I wish the victims the very best for a speedy and complete recovery from their injuries.
