A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a North Hollywood car accident, which officials say, was caused by a suspected drunk driver who fled the scene.

Police are looking for the driver who they say struck two women in South Los Angeles and then took off. According to CBS Los Angeles, the injury collision occurred the night of May 17, 2014 near Colden Avenue and Figueroa Street. Officials say the two women were crossing the street when they were hit. The driver left the scene. The injured victims were transported to an area trauma center where they were listed in stable condition. Police say the car that hit them was a gray Honda.

Santa Ana police officers are looking for one of two drivers who they say struck and injured a teen girl as she was running through moving traffic. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the hit-and-run accident, which occurred March 3, 2014, was caught on camera at Santa Ana College at 17th and Bristol streets. Officials say the high school sophomore was technically at fault because she was running against the red light. However, the two drivers who hit her, one in a red truck and the other in a black sedan fled the scene after stopping briefly.

A 73-year-old Fullerton woman has been arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run in connection with a crash that critically injured a 28-year-old pedestrian in Pacific Palisades. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the major injury collision occurred the night of February 14, 2014 when the pedestrian was walking across Pacific Coast Highway north of Temescal Canyon Road in a marked, flashing pedestrian crosswalk. Anna Soon Ma crashed her 2010 Toyota Prius into the pedestrian and then left the scene. The man suffered severe head trauma and was hospitalized. Ma was later arrested and charged.

Murder by DUI: Sherri Lynn Wilkins, a substance abuse counselor who drove two miles through Torrance with a critically injured man on her windshield, was convicted this week of second-degree murder, drunk driving and hit-and-run charges. The Associated Press reports that Wilkins’s blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit for driving when she struck and fatally injured 31-year-old Phillip Moreno in November 2012 on Torrance Boulevard.

Police are seeking the public’s help to find a hit-and-run driver who police say struck and injured a 9-year-old girl. According to a news report in The Press-Enterprise, the injury crash occurred at California Street and Plum Avenue the afternoon of January 16, 2014 a couple of miles west of Ontario International Airport. Robert Ramage, 24, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Northridge not far from his home the morning of January 15, 2014. According to a KABC news report, the fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Balboa Boulevard and Parthenia Street. Officials say a tan 2001 Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling west on Parthenia when it slammed into a 1993 Ford Escort that was traveling south on Balboa. The truck continued on Balboa crashing into a parked vehicle.
