According to a KTLA news report, Garcia was killed the night of June 14th when a car struck him as he crossed the street in the area of Washington and Paramount boulevards. Police are searching for a big rig, which they say, was involved in a fatal hit and run crash in downtown Los Angeles on the morning of May 7. According to a KTLA news report, the crash occurred as the victim was pushing a shopping cart on Seventh Street near South Alameda Street. A pedestrian was seriously injured in a car accident, which officials said, involved a hit and run driver. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the major injury collision occurred early morning on May 3 near the intersection of Lewis Street and El Prado Avenue. Officers who arrived at the scene found the pedestrian lying in the roadway and seriously injured. He was transported to an area hospital where he remained. A man suffered fatal injuries in a car accident, which officials say, involved a hit and run driver. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred on Beach Boulevard between Ball Road and Orange Avenue the night of April 23. Police say the victim may have been standing in the northbound lane closest to the sidewalk when he was struck and sustained severe head trauma. The victim was described as a man in his mid-20s. Rod Richardson whose 48-year-old wife Brenda Jean Richardson was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver the night of Feb. 5 in Corona, tracked down the driver, leading to the person’s arrest. According to an NBC news report, Brenda Richardson was struck and killed near the corner of Kalus Avenue and River Road. The driver fled the scene. A driver has been arrested in connection with an Echo Park hit-and-run crash, which left 61-year-old Rosa Garcia dead. According to a KTLA.com, 39-year-old Ilya Foks was booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter after officers spotted him on Sepulveda Boulevard in Westchester.
