According to a KTLA news report, the crash occurred the morning of Aug. 23 in the 1000 block of North Wilmington Boulevard. A man attempting to cross a street while in a wheelchair died from injuries he suffered after a minivan and an SUV struck him early on the morning of July 10.

According to a report in The Orange County Register, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred near the intersection of Euclid Street and Warner Avenue in Fountain Valley. Police said the man in the wheelchair was trying to cross Euclid westbound along Warner Avenue when he was first struck by a minivan traveling north on Euclid and then hit by an SUV traveling north. A man who police said was driving a pickup truck erratically ended up striking and critically injuring two women who were watching fireworks from a sidewalk in Anaheim.

Christine Yan and Isabelle Zhang, both 24, were killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking in a marked crosswalk in Lakewood. According to a KTLA news report, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred the night of March 12. A statement issued by the city of Lakewood said Yan and Zhang were in a crosswalk on Bloomfield Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle that was driven by a woman in her 20s. Continue reading →
