A 69-year-old woman was killed in a Huntington Beach pedestrian accident after she was struck while crossing the street. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred the evening of March 6. Police got reports that a gray Nissan Murano had struck a pedestrian on Talbert Avenue east of Bell Circle. Officers located the pedestrian lying in the roadway. An 88-year-old woman was killed in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident after a truck hit her while she was crossing the street. According to a report in The Orange County Register, the woman was struck by a vehicle that was turning left from Sullivan Street onto Willits Street just before noon on Feb. 23rd. Officers found the pedestrian in the street with major injuries. She was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Her name has not been released yet. Continue reading →

A man in a wheelchair was fatally injured after a vehicle struck him when he was crossing a street in Santa Ana. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred at 100 N. Euclid Street the morning of Dec. 29. Santa Ana police officials said they found the man in the roadway suffering from major injuries and began to treat him. A 42-year-old man was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident in San Bernardino, which officials say, involved a suspected DUI driver. According to a KTLA news report, the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of 2nd and G streets the night of Dec. 27. Nanci Perea Rosales, 69, suffered fatal injuries in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident the afternoon of Dec. 13. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, Santa Ana police responded to calls of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near Main Street and Alton Avenue. When officials responded, they found Rosales down in the roadway suffering from major injuries. Paramedics treated the injured pedestrian and transported her to an area hospital, but Rosales succumbed to her injuries. Continue reading →

A man was killed in a Long Beach pedestrian accident. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred when the man crossed the street in an unmarked crosswalk at the intersection of Park Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway. Firefighters responded to render aid to the man who later died from his injuries. Based on preliminary investigations, the 66-year-old driver was going east on Pacific Coast Highway when he struck the pedestrian in the roadway. The driver remained at the scene.
