A pedestrian has died in a hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident in Fountain Valley that involved multiple vehicles. According to a news report in the Daily Pilot, the traffic collision occurred on Warner Avenue east of Brookhurst Street on the night of June 23rd. When police arrived at the scene, they found a male victim unresponsive at the scene in the westbound lanes. Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital but died from his injuries. David Stame, 54, was fatally injured in a Huntington Beach pedestrian accident. According to a report in The Orange County Register, the incident occurred on the night of June 26th at the intersection of Bolsa Chica Street and Warner Avenue. Police said the 66-year-old driver of a gray 2018 Hyundai Elantra was traveling west on Warner Avenue when the vehicle struck Stame who was crossing northbound at Bolsa Chica near Warner. Richard Hernandez, 67, was killed in a pedestrian accident in South Los Angeles, which officials said, involved a suspected hit and run driver. According to a City News Service report, Hernandez died at the scene after he was struck by two vehicles early morning on May 20 at Main Street and 47th Place. A white 2005-2010 model Honda sedan was traveling north on Main Street when it struck Hernandez, who was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk, LAPD officials said. Continue reading →

Josephine Espiritu, 59, was killed in a Long Beach pedestrian accident after two vehicles crashed at a street intersection forcing one to strike her. According to a news report in the Press Telegram, police believe that the May 11th crash was the result of street racing. While the driver of the car that caused the crash has not yet been arrested, police plan to present a case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office for filing consideration. Police are looking for a hit and run driver who they say fatally struck a 33-year-old man in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles. According to a KTLA news report, the fatal crash occurred early morning on May 1st as the victim as walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of West 92nd Street and South Western Avenue. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Valley View Street and Lampson Avenue.
