Congested intersections are a major cause of Huntington Beach car accidents, and it comes as no surprise that Huntington Beach has four of the top twenty five busiest intersections in Orange County, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority. With swarms of people trying to get to the beach, or just take in the sights and sounds of surf city, the streets have become packed with cars and pedestrians.

All intersections on the list were associated with Beach Boulevard, one of the main streets of Huntington Beach. Beach Boulevard is a direct route to the Beach, and is popular amongst residents and tourists. If you regularly drive on Beach Boulevard, take heed when approaching the following intersections.

California wrongful death lawyers have been following a recent lawsuit involving Michael Jackson. The wrongful death lawsuit was filed against the entertainment company, AEG alleging that the company worked Michael to death.

The attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of Jackson’s mother and his children said, “the purpose of the lawsuit is to prove to the world the truth about what happened to Michael Jackson, once and for all.” The Jackson family believes that AIG put profits over Michael’s safety and health, which they claim caused his death. The Jackson family believes that AIG is liable for his death and for the actions of Michael’s physician, Dr. Conrad Murray.

A DUI collision in Lake Forest injured 20-year-old Fernando Ambriz the afternoon of September 9, 2010. The Orange County Register reports that the injury collision occurred on Muirlands Boulevard at Aspan Street, when 31-year-old Ryan Churchill ran a red light at the intersection and crashed head-on into a Toyota pickup truck that was waiting for a green light. Ambriz was a passenger in the pickup truck and sustained injuries. But, he is expected to survive. Churchill was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

I’m relieved to hear that Ambriz was not catastrophically injured in this collision. This could have also resulted in serious injuries or fatalities had there been any pedestrians or bicyclists crossing at the intersection. I wish Ambriz the very best for a quick and full recovery.

A number of San Diego personal injury attorneys do some type of pro bono work that is often overlooked by the media and the general public. Pro Bono work is basically services that attorneys perform for free when they see clients that are in need of legal representation, but cannot afford to pay for an attorney. Often, these cases simply must be done to provide justice to the injured party.

The reason you never hear of this pro bono work in the media is because it doesn’t make for a good story. There’s no “gloom and doom” or amazing video footage that goes along with these feel-good stories, so the media rarely reports on it.
