Patricia McFarland, 63, sustained major injuries in a San Francisco car accident after her vehicle was struck by a suspected drunk driver who also left the scene of the crash. According to a news report in the Record-Bee, the injury collision occurred at the intersection of Soda Bay and Mission Rancheria roads in Lake County on June 5, 2010. California Highway Patrol officials say Thomas Mello, 40, was traveling east on Soda Bay Road in a 1990 Ford Explorer when he failed to yield right-of-way to a westbound 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by McFarland. He made a left turn directly into her path. McFarland was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.

After a day of fog, rain and rolling hills, the Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys Newport Beach Personal Injury Lawyer’s sponsored rider, Loree Glenn, woke up early yesterday morning to begin the longest day of her 545 mile journey. Yesterday’s ride was a shocking 107.6 mile stretch. Unlike her previous day’s terrain, this route was mostly flat and the weather was great.

Her first day of riding started on Sunday at the Cow Palace parking lot in San Francisco. Lorraine joined thousands of other riders for the opening ceremonies and eventually the long ride to Santa Cruz — her first stop of the seven day journey.

Mother of two from Mission Viejo, California, Loree Glenn is getting ready to begin her 545-mile bicycle trek for the Lifecycle event. On Sunday she will take-off from San Francisco and ride through California to Los Angeles. The event is designed to raise awareness of the human suffering caused by the AIDS pandemic. This is Loree’s third year participating in Lifecycle, and the third year she has been sponsored by the Newport Beach personal injury lawyers, Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys.

Three people were injured in a San Bernardino car accident the morning of May 26, 2010, according to a news report in the Victorville Daily Press. The injury accident occurred on Highway 395 in Hesperia and involved three vehicles. A 2009 Ford pickup truck was traveling south on the highway, between Bear Valley Road and Main Street, when the driver got distracted, crossed the double yellow lines, and entered into the path of a Lincoln Town Car that was going north on the highway.

The driver of the Lincoln sustained major injuries in the collision. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials said the driver of a Kia who swerved to avoid the wreckage almost fell into the California Aqueduct. Thankfully, the vehicle was held back by three strands of barbed wire. The driver of the Kia was also injured, but the extent of his injuries is not known.

Mission Viejo mother, Lorraine Glenn, is gearing up for the AIDS/LifeCycle event, a rigorous and demanding seven day journey down the California coast. The 545-mile stretch will begin this Sunday in San Francisco and end in Los Angeles. Lorraine has set out on this journey to help end the pandemic and human suffering caused by AIDS.

The AIDS/LifeCycle ride raises funds to support services provided by the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation to HIV/AIDS victims.

Christian Hansen Gunn, 57, was killed in a San Bernardino car accident after the 2002 Nissan Sentra in which he was a passenger collided head-on with another vehicle on State Route 18. According to a news report in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Gunn was traveling north on Route 18 in the Nissan, and near Old Waterman Canyon Road, the morning of May 29, 2010. At the time a Dodge Neon traveling in the southbound lane struck the Nissan. Police say the driver of the Dodge Neon was street racing at the time and caused the collision. Gunn died at the scene of the accident. The Nissan’s driver and two other people in the Dodge were transported to a local hospital with injuries.
