A 67-year-old La Habra man was killed in a car accident in the San Diego area after he lost control of his vehicle, crashed and was ejected. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred the night of October 4, 2017 on Montezuma Valley Road near mile marker 13.5 in unincorporated San Diego County.
California Highway Patrol officials said the man was northbound on the two-way road in a 1997 Toyota Camry when he drifted off the right shoulder. The car plunged down the embankment and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene. The driver was the only occupant of the Camry and no other vehicles were involved. Investigators are still looking into what caused this fatal accident.
