A 70-year-old man suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident in the Inglewood area, which officials say involved a hit and run driver.

According to a KTLA news report, the crash occurred on the night of Jan. 27 2022 when the victim was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Manchester and Van Ness avenues. A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash on the 91 Freeway in Orange County that left one person dead.

According to a report in The Orange County Register, Tyler Christian Williams was charged with felony counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury, driving under the influence with blood alcohol over the legal limit of 0.08%, DUI causing injury, and hit-and-run causing permanent and serious injury.
