A 39-year-old man was injured in a San Diego car accident when a Nissan Versa pulled ahead of his motorcycle. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the motorcycle accident occurred on Linda Vista Road in Linda Vista, the afternoon of June 3, 2011. The motorcyclist was travelling south on Linda Vista, near Ulric Street, when the 50-year-old male driver of the Nissan pulled out of a restaurant parking lot and made an unsafe lane change. The motorcyclist braked hard in an attempt to avoid a collision and was ejected. The victim flipped over the motorcycle’s handlebars and hit the back of the car, suffering a lower leg and wrist injury. He was transported to an area hospital. It is not clear if the driver of the car will be cited for making an unsafe lane change.

Teresa Lynn Cramer, 46, was killed in a Los Angeles car accident when her Chevrolet Suburban went out of control, rolled over and crashed. According to a City News Service report, the fatal rollover accident occurred on the eastbound 60 Freeway in Montebello the morning of June 1, 2011. Cramer was travelling in her SUV when it veered out of control, overturned, struck a light pole and ejected her. Officials are investigating the cause of this fatal crash.

Xai Lor, 22, of Lake Forest, was fatally injured in a Riverside car accident after his car struck a pole. According to a news report in The Press-Enterprise, the fatal collision occurred early morning on May 29, 2011 in the 1300 block of Blaine Street, close to the Interstate 215. Riverside Coroner’s officials say Lor crashed his car into a pole in the parking lot of a service station. Lor was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman was injured in a San Diego car accident after her vehicle was hit by a city trolley in downtown San Diego. According to a San Diego 6 news report, the injury crash occurred the morning of May 31, 2011 near the intersection of Park Avenue and Market Street in the East Village area. The woman was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening. An investigation is ongoing.

I’m relieved to note that the victim in this case did not suffer life-threatening injuries. I pray for her swift and full recovery.

Pedro Cervantes, 24, was killed in a Riverside car accident involving a driver who, officials say, may have been under the influence of alcohol. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the fatal DUI collision occurred on Avenida Maravilla in Cathedral City the night of May 27, 2011. Police say 26-year-old Randy Merida, caused the fatal pedestrian accident when he struck Cervantes, who was in a wheelchair. Merida then fled the scene leaving Cervantes critically injured. Merida was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, gross vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run.

Friends and family of a 14-year-old serious-injury auto accident victim gathered in Irvine Sunday night, the victim remaining in grave condition at a local hospital, according to the Orange County Register. The 48-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz and one of the other passengers has been released from the hospital, said Lt. Henry Boggs of the Irvine Police Department. The collision occurred at about 1:15 a.m. when the five people in a Mercedes-Benz collided with a Toyota pickup at the intersection of Irvine Boulevard and Culver drive, Boggs said.

Anaheim’s North Harbor Boulevard is notorious for its early morning traffic, but for a woman and her child passengers it has become the site of a horrific car accident. According to the Orange County Register, a woman and three children were hospitalized this morning after a car crash that briefly shut down part of Harbor Boulevard. The two drivers involved gave conflicting accounts of the accident, both adamant about the other being the driver at fault.

The unidentified woman was driving a Corolla with three children, all of which were quickly taken to the hospital by ambulance. Luckily the other driver involved was unhurt. Our sincere condolences go out to all those involved in this horrible auto accident and wish them a speedy recovery.

A 28-year-old man was seriously injured in a San Francisco car accident when a taxicab struck him and then left the scene of the crash. According to a CBS San Francisco news report, the hit-and-run car accident occurred at Sutter and Polk streets in San Francisco early morning of May 23, 2011. The victim of this pedestrian accident sustained life-threatening injuries. The taxi driver, a man in his 30s, was later arrested for leaving the scene of the serious injury accident.

Fred Walsh, 91, died the night of May 24, 2011 from injuries sustained in a Riverside car accident a week ago. According to a news report in The Press-Enterprise the bicycle accident occurred near the intersection of California Avenue and Rucker Lane in a residential neighborhood. Officials say Walsh’s bicycle was hit by a mid-size pickup truck. An investigation is ongoing.

One person was injured after a San Bernardino car accident, which officials say, was caused by a hit-and-run driver. According to a news report in The Press-Enterprise, the injury collision occurred the afternoon of May 24, 2011 at the intersection of Cactus and Bloomington avenues in Rialto. Police say a Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with a Toyota Camry, injuring the Camry’s driver. The driver of the Dodge Ram fled the scene of the accident. Police say the hit-and-run driver may have been a parolee at large. The extent of the victim’s injuries is not known. An investigation is ongoing.
