Police in Sun Valley are looking for two drivers in connection with a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that has left a 60-year-old woman dead. Man Killed in South Los Angeles Hit and Run Crash
Police are searching for three men in connection with a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles, which left 33-year-old Ronal Merdio Villatoro dead. According to a KTLA news report, surveillance footage released by the LAPD shows a green pickup truck run a red light just before the fatal collision on Feb. 24. Elderly Woman Fatally Injured in Santa Ana Pedestrian Accident
An 88-year-old woman was killed in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident after a truck hit her while she was crossing the street. According to a report in The Orange County Register, the woman was struck by a vehicle that was turning left from Sullivan Street onto Willits Street just before noon on Feb. 23rd. Three Children Airlifted After Car Crashes into Daycare Center at Saugus
An SUV crashed through a wall and into the classroom of a daycare facility in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita sending three children to the hospital even though no major injuries were reported. According to a KABC news report, paramedics responded to the crash reported at La Petite Academy located in the 28000th block of Seco Canyon Road the afternoon of Feb. 22. A statement from the academy said that a school family member’s vehicle struck the building and drove into the classroom. Pastor Suffers Critical Injuries in South Los Angeles Hit and Run
Juan Beltran, 51, a local pastor and father to six children, was severely injured in a hit and run crash in South Los Angeles. LAPD released a video of the hit-and-run that occurred the morning of Feb. 21 in the 1100 block of East 49th Street. Suspected DUI Driver Crashes into Outdoor Diners in Santa Monica Causing Injuries
A driver suspected of being under the influence crashed into customers eating outside a popular café sending at least one person to the hospital. According to CBS Los Angeles, officials said the driver, 21-year-old Piper Pollard of the Pacific Palisades, was arrested for felony DUI. Detectives said it appeared Pollard was driving northbound on Main Street the night of Feb. 12 when she struck a portion of a concrete barrier surrounding the extended dining area at Urth Caffe. Jose Manuel Garcia, 37, was killed in a pedestrian accident in Moreno Valley, which officials said, was caused by a hit and run driver. According to a City News Service report, the man was struck a little before midnight on Feb. 13 near the intersection of Fir Avenue and Perris Boulevard. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
