LAPD officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley that left a 58-year-old Glendale man fatally injured. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the crash occurred the morning of Feb. 6 at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Roscoe boulevards. The driver of a box truck was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in a crash that killed a man who rear-ended the truck that was stopped on the 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks. According to an NBC Los Angeles news report, the fiery crash occurred on the eastbound 101 Freeway at Van Nuys Boulevard. California Highway Patrol officials are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a 24-year-old Lake Elsinore motorcyclist with major injuries on Highway 74 between Lake Elsinore and Perris the evening of Feb. 3. According to a report in The Press-Enterprise, the victim was traveling on a Suzuki dirt bike west on the 74 east of Hammack Avenue when a gray, four-door 2006 Ford F-250 that was heading east on the highway turned north on Hammack into the path of the dirt bike. Fiery Crash Near Downtown Los Angeles Leaves One Injured
One man suffered critical injuries in a Los Angeles car accident after the vehicle he was driving flew off an overpass into palm trees and burst into flames. According to a KABC news report, the horrific crash was reported the night of Jan. 21 near the Sixth Street exit. Video from the scene showed the Mercedes Benz fly off the Sixth Street overpass and into the palm trees, and then burst into flames as California Highway Patrol officers rushed in to try and pull the driver from the burning, crashed vehicle.
