Marty Mannani, 64, was killed in a Mission Viejo pedestrian accident after a vehicle struck him as he was crossing a street. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the crash occurred on the morning of July 26 near the intersection of Marguerite Parkway and Alerzal. A 24-year-old Anaheim man suffered fatal injuries after a large truck struck and killed him after being thrown off his motorcycle. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the semi’s driver did not stop and another man was severely injured on the freeway. The motorcyclist was killed on the southbound side of the 5 Freeway in Sun Valley late night on July 19, California Highway Patrol officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Orange County Sheriff’s officials are asking for the public’s help to identify a pedestrian who they say jaywalked across a major roadway in Stanton, which led to the death of the motorcyclist, 51-year-old Mark Palacios of Cerritos. According to a report in The Orange County Register, the fatal incident occurred on the morning of July 19th. Pablo Barrios, 26, was killed in a head-on car accident in Palmdale in which another man was suspected of driving under the influence. According to an NBC news report, the incident occurred on 90th Street East, south of Avenue Q the night of July 17. A preliminary investigation determined that 20-year-old Jamie Gonzalez was driving south on 90th Street at an undetermined speed approaching a vehicle going northbound and driven by Barrios when Gonzalez veered into the northbound lane and slammed head-on into Barrios’ vehicle. Police are seeking the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee who they say was involved in a deadly hit and run crash in Santa Ana on July 17 that took the life of a pedestrian identified as 81-year-old Norman Kent of Garden Grove. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, several people called police to report a man lying in the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue the night of July 17th. A man was killed in a Huntington Beach bicycle accident, which officials said, involved a driver who tried to flee the scene. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred early morning on July 14th at Beach Boulevard and Sunrise Drive. Officials who responded to the crash found the suspected vehicle and driver who was arrested, fleeing the crash scene. A 23-year-old woman was killed in a car accident and many others were seriously injured when a vehicle drove over the center median and collided with a light pole. According to a news report on Patch.com, the crash occurred early morning of July 8th at the intersection of 190th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard. A driver in a 2015 Dodge Charger was heading north on Crenshaw Boulevard and drove over the median crashing into a light pole on the intersection’s southwest corner. A 19-year-old man, who officials say, may have been involved in a street race was arrested the night of July 5th after striking and injuring a pedestrian who was crossing the street in Santa Ana. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred at Bristol and Myrtle streets.
