Richard Hernandez, 67, was killed in a pedestrian accident in South Los Angeles, which officials said, involved a suspected hit and run driver. According to a City News Service report, Hernandez died at the scene after he was struck by two vehicles early morning on May 20 at Main Street and 47th Place. Josephine Espiritu, 59, was killed in a Long Beach pedestrian accident after two vehicles crashed at a street intersection forcing one to strike her. Police are searching for a big rig, which they say, was involved in a fatal hit and run crash in downtown Los Angeles on the morning of May 7. According to a KTLA news report, the crash occurred as the victim was pushing a shopping cart on Seventh Street near South Alameda Street.
