According to a KTLA.com, 39-year-old Ilya Foks was booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter after officers spotted him on Sepulveda Boulevard in Westchester. A high-speed car accident in Irwindale, which police said, involved a suspected DUI driver, left two people including an infant injured. According to a KTLA news report, the multivehicle collision occurred on eastbound Live Oak Avenue at the on-ramp of the southbound 605 Freeway the night of Jan. 19. Responding officers found that three vehicles were involved in the collision and one of the cars had overturned. A 60-year-old man died from his injuries suffered in a hit and run crash in Fullerton. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred at Lemon Street and Santa Fe Avenue on the evening of Jan. 2. Police found the victim lying in the number two lane of Lemon. The initial investigation determined that the suspect vehicle, a 2015 Honda Civic, was traveling south on Lemon when it struck the pedestrian. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital.
