Eduardo Perez, 22, was killed in a truck versus motorcycle collision on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach on the morning of March 15.

According to a report in the Long Beach Post, officials say Perez died at the crash scene when his motorcycle and a semi-truck collided on the northbound 710 Freeway lanes near Wardlow Road.

Several northbound lanes were blocked for several hours as California Highway Patrol officials conducted an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Continue reading →

Victor Gonzales, 30, was fatally struck in a Jurupa Valley pedestrian accident where the driver reportedly fled the scene.

According to a City News Service report, the fatal collision occurred early morning on March 15 at Van Buren Boulevard north of Clay Street. Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials said Gonzales was walking on Van Buren Boulevard when he was run over.

Toddler Julian Ros, 2, and his babysitter Eligia Morales were killed in a Riverside pedestrian accident while crossing a street in a marked crosswalk.

According to CBS, the two were struck and killed on the afternoon of March 15 after picking up Julian’s 7-year-old sister from school.

Riverside police say the fatal crash occurred near Hayes and Roosevelt streets. Preliminary investigations show that a 46-year-old driver of a Range Rover was traveling westbound on Hayes Street when he turned onto Roosevelt Street and struck all three pedestrians as they crossed the roadway. Joshua Page, 18, his brother Jeremy Page, 17, were killed in a Huntington Beach car accident after the vehicle they were in collided with a city vehicle.

According to an NBC Los Angeles news report, the brothers were in an older model Ford F-250 on the morning of March 7 when their vehicle collided with a white Chevy Silverado belonging to the city of Huntington Beach at the intersection of Newland Street and Yorktown Avenue.

LA officials are offering a $50,000 reward to find a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed 42-year-old Jeremy Chavarria as he was crossing the street with his family in South Los Angeles.  According to a KTLA news report, the collision occurred on the night of Feb. 26 as Chavarria, his wife, and their 2-year-old son were walking in a marked crosswalk to get to church in the area of 84th and Hoover Street.

A man was killed in a Fullerton pedestrian accident on the night of March 8, City News Service reports.

According to the report, the fatal collision occurred in the 2500 block of East Chapman Avenue west of the 57 Freeway and near Cal State Fullerton. A speeding pickup truck crashed into an apartment complex in North Long Beach on the night of March 1, killing a father and his 3-year-old daughter who were inside.

KABC News and others have identified the victims as 42-year-old Jose Palacios and his daughter, Samantha. Shortly before the crash, surveillance video captured a 2014 Dodge Ram speeding northbound in the 6600 block of Rose Avenue. A woman suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run crash after being struck by a vehicle and dragged along by the driver.

According to a KTLA news report, the driver allegedly said, “I sure am” after being asked by the victim if he was going to leave the scene of the crash. The collision occurred early on the morning of Feb. 28 as the victim, 61-year-old Sandra Martin, was crossing the 100 block of East Fourth Street. A woman was fatally injured in a Los Angeles car accident, which officials say, was caused by a suspected DUI driver. According to a KTLA news report, the fatal crash occurred the evening of March 2 when the driver of a Chevy truck that was traveling at a high rate of speed on Woodley Avenue ran a red light and crashed into a Nissan sedan. A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on a major thoroughfare in Van Nuys died from his injuries on February 27.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Daily News, the man was crossing Sepulveda Boulevard north of Victory Boulevard when he was hit by a southbound vehicle. The driver fled the scene.
