Manuel Cadena, 64, was killed in a Victorville car accident, which officials say, involved a hit-and-run driver. According to a news report in The San Bernardino County Sun, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Palmdale Road, near Borego Road, the night of June 26, 2011. The driver left the scene.
Officials found Cadena lying on the roadway and transported him to a local hospital where he died. Eyewitnesses have described the hit-and-run vehicle as a dark green or black SUV, possibly a Toyota.
